Today joinindianarmy published the list of 152 candidates who have made in the merit list, their date of joining officers training academy OTA is 03 Oct 2012. This time also the intake is more than what was notified, all candidates those who have got recommended and cleared medical examination will get joining instruction soon.
Branch wise intake details:

- Electrical (Vac-06) : 12
- Mechanical (Vac-07): 33
- Automobile Engg/Workshop Tech (Vac-01) : 02
- Production (Vac-01): NIL
- Electronics (Vac-04) : 05
- Communication/Telecom (incl ECE/Electronics & Comn) (Vac-06): 58
- Architecture (Vac-02): 01
- Computer Science & Engg (Vac-02): 34
The intake is way more than as mentioned in the advertisment , like always IT branch wasn’t considered.

@SAURABH : Don’t worry your name will surely come in the JI list because last time also the vacancies were increased above 30+ and ur name is 7th so no chance of u getting rejected..

Hi. this is venkat. my friend got recommended in ssc (t) 39. I have 3 doubts. 1st: The serial order which d given is their respective department ranks?
2nd: There are only 7 vacancies in mechanical department. According to merit list say example first 7 will get into OTA. What will the other 26 candidates do???
3rd: There are 21 vacancies in Civil. oly 7 people made into merit list. What about the remaining 14 vacancies?? Will that be given to remaining other department candidates who made their merit list???

1) yes its respective department rank
2) if they extend the vacancies all 26 will be taken else only fist 7 who are medically fit will get Joining Instruction.
3)no they will not adjust candidates from remaining department

till last year all the candidates used to get JI but there has been some change in policy….i have already been screwd nicely by this change

BRO TRY TO CONTACT THEM BY SENDING MAILS OR MAKE A CALL TO RECRUITMENT CELL TO ASK WHY THERE IS NO VACANCIES FOR IT GRADUATES. AT LEAST WE KNOW THAT WHY IT BRANCH IS NOT CONSIDERED FOR TECHNICAL ENTRIES BUT CS .HOW ITS POSSIBLE BOTH HAVING SAME JOB IN COMPUTER FIELD OR FILE AN RTI AGAINST THERE UNFAIR DECISION IF CS OR MSC COMPUTER SCIENCE ELIGIBLE THEN WHATS THE PROBLEM WITH IT BRANCH I TRY MY BEST TO SHOW MY CONCERN TO THEM ON THIS ISSUE.
