  1. I want to know that what do actually engineers do in Indian Army, via ues/direct entry? Do they get also get ranks of Lt. , Captain etc & how are they different from the MES’engineers ??

I anyone knows answer about my all above queries then Please tell.
    Thanks.

    • Engineers in the Army constitute the most important component of the war machinery. Firstly engineers are not only at par with all other officers but also have other priviledges in terms of seniority, Technical allowance and opprtunities to do post gratuation from all elite institutes of the country. One starts with the rank of a Lieutenant and can go up to General.MES is not a combat Arm/ service. Their job is to maintain Military instalation/ Station without any combat responsibility.
