Now Indian army aspirants can apply for TGC-118in joinindianarmy website. All candidates are required to apply online only and no other methods will be considered. So with TGC-118 notification, army has also done some changes in the online application format, lets know who to apply for TGC-118 with the new application format.
Make sure you apply for TGC-118 before end date i.e. 14th June 2013.There is no cut off at present and all eligible candidates as per the notification can apply. Later, candidates will be shortlisted on the basis of their aggregate percentage in B.tech/B.E. from 1st to 6th semester. Cut off for TGC-118 may remain between 65% to 70%. Recently army has declared the cut off percentage of SSC-41th Tech course which is 65% aggregate from 1st to 6th semester.
1. Visit joinindianarmy.nic.in 2. Visit the top navigation Officers > How to Apply > Online Application > TGC-118 3. After clicking TGC-118, you can see a form something like below. 4. Basically it will ask you few easy details like, Personal, Schooling, College, Marks, Address, Previous SSB details etc. 5. Now you can start filling it as show below.
Visit the website and click on TGC-118
Enter you basic details
Enter your Present and Permanent Address correctly
Enter whatever you remember, if you are a fresher then select No.
Enter your educational qualification
Enter, Physics, Chemistry and Maths Marks
As per your present status enter your B.tech or BE marks
Read the deceleration
Read some important notes and submit
Check the roll number generated and click of print button and save it as pdf file.
6. Make sure your send all the documents and generated form to the correct address. Also make sure you follow the official notification for correct address and list of documents to be submitted.
In case of Technical Error while applying:
You may encounter page crash after clicking submitting button then make sure few things.
You are using a good internet connection with at least 512 Kbps.
Your browser is updated till latest version.
You have java enabled in your system.
If you roll number has generated but you have forget to take printout, do not apply again.
Do not apply again if your roll number got generated.
Try from your friends place if you face continuous problem.

its better that army authority should keep more than 70%criteria for selection,i understand that the applications are more if u want to ease down the selection procedure keep 60 cut off and a written exam .i request the authority to look into this matter carefully bcz in pune unversity its difficult to score 55,and army is equal for all so i have a kind request to the authority to set certain criteria that will be benificial for all.
Sir. In my b.tech 1st year, the academics are not semester wise, it is a year wise academic, but in the application,it is asked to enter the marks in the semester wise. What to do now? Please reply me as soon as u can sir. The time is running to apply for the exam.

its very simple bro just divide each year of ur marks by 2..for ex: if u hv scored 700/1000 in ur 1st year then fill the boxes 350/500 in 1st box nd later 350/500 in 2nd box…
i have also faced the same problem but after refreshing the page roll no got generated but engineering marks are not showing . instead it shows that no engineering marks are submitted. but i have submitted all the marks in CGPA format.
After that i started contacting them on helpline number but they are not picking up the phone…
i encountered a page crash while submitting my TGC-118 form..no form got generated for me giving me my roll number.. after that everytime i try again,it says candidate already exists.that means my data got saved in the database..how can i get to know my roll number and the form that i have to post to the army people..

Sir I am from Andhra pradesh. in intermediate (10+2) the marks are for 120 marks(physics and chemistry) and 300 marks(maths). and in the Indian Army web site it is predefined as 100. what to do..?
