The applications for Air Force Common Admission Test 2/2014 are being received and candidates are enthusiastic about applying for the same. Some of you might be facing some problems in filling us the application form. Feel free to post your queries in the comment box below and we will try to solve those problems as soon as possible. However in this article we are going to give you a general overview on how to fill the AFCAT form for AFCAT 2/2014.
- As you all must be aware that the AFCAT form is to be filled only online. You have to go to the career website of Indian Air Force www.careerairforce.nic.in and look out for the ‘Candidate Login’ section in the bottom right corner of the home page.
- Once You click on this ‘candidate login’ section a new page will open up. Fill in the details on this new page by clicking on the ‘new candidate’ option. Then click submit and wait for your user ID and password in your email.
- Now again comeback to the main candidate login page, fill in your user ID and the password you got in email. Once you submit your details you’ll see a new section opening where you have to fill the application in parts. So first fill the part 2 by giving all your necessary details. Once you are sure that you have filled in correct information proceed to Part 3 but make sure that you don’t have to alter anything later here as if you change anything in part 2 you’ll have to resubmit the other parts also.
- In part three you have to tick mark the subjects you have studied in the degree/diploma till now, on whose basis you are applying. You also have to give details about your PABT status. After filling in the correct info move to part 4 by clicking on proceed to part 4.
- After filling in the details in part 4 you have to move on to part 5 and according to the given instructions you have to upload your photograph.
- You can submit the application after you have correctly filled in all details. At any time you can preview your application and also you can change your password if needed by following the option given on the left hand side of the page.

Sir I’m studying in b.tech final year and on the second page when I filled the current qualification as b.tech 3rd year I am getting error after filling in the third page it is saying than I’m not eligible for any of the duties but as per the advertisement I’m eligible

I too got error message saying submission failed due to invalid data after clicking on submit option. But my application status says application submitted to Indian air force. Also I didn’t recieve any mail regarding submission of my application. Is it alright or is there some problem. Please let me know…

i am having problem in filling AFCAT form whenever i am attaching my pic its giving an error that EXTENSION SHOULD BE JPG but pic ki alreadyin jpg lots of my friends are also having same problem in filling we call the support no. but no body responded . pls if u have any suggastion regarding this . I am a Law student(5 years integrated course). In part 3 i ticked two subjects law and economics as i have studied both in my graduation but it is showing submission failed due to invalid data…
i too am facing the problem after submission of page 5. i have tried out with internet explorer but the problem still remains. pls help.
Even i also faced the same problem. Later, i removed “commas” in the address line and it worked….
Thanks for the suggestion. it works but now i am having problem wth photo upload.. its says jpg format is required inspite of giving a jpg photo.. pls help.
see that you adhere to the size limit of photo. It should be in between 10KB and 50KB. It posed no problem for me.

Whosoever is facing the problem in submission as ” Submission failed due to invalid data” Kindly fill the AFCAT form in Internet Explorer. This error is due to higher windows & browser version, which is not supported by there website. Good Luck 🙂
hello sir .. i am indian origin .. currently i am pakistani citizen ..but since 8 std iam living in Ahmedbad gujrat with intention of permanent ..even there is almost 2 years remaining for my citizenship …..am i eligible for administration and ground duty services in airforce… please reply…..thanks….

In part 3 should I select only 8 subjects or all the subjects I’ve studied? N on proceeding its saying u may not be eligible on basis of subjects you’ve selected. Why so?
U should Select alll the Subjects.. Minimum Required Number Of Subjects is 8..
Check Ur Expected Date of Attaining Graduation.. Fill it somewhere nearby 15 may. It doesn`t matter although. U just prepare for Written. When u appear for SSB, get a tentative gradesheet from ur colg/univ if u dont receive a Proper Degree
