After clearing the written you’ll be called for Service Selection Board Interviews (SSB) in the coming months. While the SSB’s for IMA, NA and AFA will begin from July onwards, the SSB’s for OTA will start from December. After getting the results let us see what you can do:
- Read and get to know what SSB is. If you are going to face the SSB first time then you need to know what all the SSB consists of. For that read the related articles on our website. Get to know each test in detail.
- Start finalizing about the coaching if you intend to do so. The real preparation time for SSB is now, and not when the dates will come. So finalize whether you want to join the coaching or not. If yes then find out which one, and details regarding the coaching you have finalized. Then find a convenient time to join it.
- It is the right time to strengthen your current affairs. Its not that without GK you can’t clear SSB but definitely knowing it helps a lot. So start taking interest into the various current national and international issues happening around. Developing a habit of reading is good, so either subscribe to a newspaper, get an app on your phone or try to hear the news on TV everyday. This will help you to cover up a lot of GK and current affairs.
- Get a good essay book and start preparing topics from it. A good UPSC level will help you to know a lot of topics which will help you in the GD of your SSB.
- You can build up a good stamina if you start now. So start running or doing some exercise which will help you in building up stamina so that you can perform well in the physical task.
- Keep checking the official career website of Indian Army and also updates of SSBCrack to know about your SSB dates as soon as they come.
