The delivery of these weapon systems was made under a contract signed as part of the Indian Army’s emergency procurement initiative, as reported by news agency ANI. In a brazen assault on the Indian Army, terrorists launched two grenades at a military installation in the Poonch district of Jammu and Kashmir in the early hours of Wednesday. According to officials, the attack targeted a post situated behind an army camp in the Surankote region. While one of the grenades detonated, the second was successfully neutralized by bomb disposal experts.
