The Territorial Army of India is currently inviting applications from gainfully employed Indian citizens, both male and female, for the position of Territorial Army Officers. TA Exam Guidelines

On the date of examination, the candidate must carry to the allocated Test Centre, a downloaded copy of E-Admit Card with one recent self-attested passport size colour photograph firmly pasted on it. Candidate should put signature on the declaration provided on the Admit Card in the presence of the invigilator.

The printed E-Admit Card must be presented for verification along with at least one ORIGINAL (not photocopy or scanned copy) valid PHOTO IDENTIFICATION CARD, viz. Voter Identification Card, Driving License, PAN Card, Passport, Aadhaar Card or ID card issued by Government (for
Govt employees). Candidates are advised to bring two recent colour passport size photograph(s) to the test centre.

No candidate will be allowed to enter at the Test Centre without valid E-Admit Card and Photo Identification Card as mentioned above. In the case of post marriage or change in the name, the candidate must bring the original matriculation certificate along with original Identification Card. The identity of the candidate will be matched from the proofs to be provided by the candidates.

The total duration of Test is 120 minutes. Each correct answer shall carry ONE mark. For each question for which a wrong answer has been given by the candidate, one third (0.33) marks assigned to that question will be deducted as penalty. Nobody shall be allowed to go outside the Classroom/Lab during the entire period of the examination.

On the day of the examination, it is essential to follow certain guidelines to ensure a smooth and hassle-free experience:

  1. Reach Early: Plan your journey in advance and reach the exam center well before the reporting time mentioned on your admit card. This will allow you to avoid any last-minute rush or confusion.

The Officers Training Academy (OTA) in Gaya witnessed a grand spectacle on Saturday morning during its 24th Passing Out Parade. The academy was adorned in traditional military attire for the occasion. Following the parade, a Pipping Ceremony was conducted where military officers took their oaths.

This year, a total of 128 cadets graduated from OTA Gaya, including participants from seven friendly countries. The cohort comprised 121 Indian cadets, five from Bhutan, and two from Vietnam. Notably, Uttar Pradesh contributed the highest number of cadets, with 31 graduates, followed by 13 from Uttarakhand, nine from Rajasthan, six from Madhya Pradesh, and three from Bihar.

The parade featured cadets from the Technical Entry Scheme (TES) course number 42, including 101 officers and seven officers from friendly countries. Additionally, 27 officers from the Special Commission Officer Course number 51 also graduated. The TES-48 course saw 90 officer cadets participate in the parade, who are set to join various Army Cadet Training Wings for engineering degrees.

The Passing Out Parade was remarkable for its display of exceptional drill movements, showcasing the cadets’ high level of training, pride, and coordination. The Chief Guest for the event was Navy Chief Admiral R Hari Kumar (PVSM, AVSM, VSM, ADC), an alumnus of the 61st course of the National Defence Academy, Khadakwasla, Pune.

Officer Cadet Satvik Shivpuri was awarded the prestigious “Sword of Honor” for his outstanding performance in all rounds of the Passing Out Technical Entry Scheme Course.
