Physical Fitness : In Naval Academy curriculum, a lot of emphasis is laid on physical fitness. You are therefore, advised to remain fit by undertaking regular physical exercises, sports, running, swimming, etc. so that you meet the training goals successfully.
Physical Standards : The candidates should not be colour/night blind & must be physically fit according to following physical standards: (a) Height and Weight. Minimum height for male -157 cms with correlated weight. (b) Eye Sight.

Selection Procedure : (a) The candidates will be issued call up for Services Selection Board (SSB) based on their performance in Degree Course. If a candidate possesses higher qualification with better percentage, his higher qualification will be considered for cut off. Integrated Headquarters, Ministry of Defence (Navy) reserves the right to shortlist applications and to fix cut off percentage . No communication will be entertained on this account. SSB interviews for short listed candidates will be scheduled at Bangalore/ Bhopal Coimbatore during May – Sep 2012.
Candidates are to submit application in ‘e-application‘ (Online) for this entry. The candidates desirous of applying online (e-application) can do so from 09 Mar 12. The online application registration will cease on 01 Apr 12. Online (e-application):- Whilst filling up the e-application, it is advisable to keep the relevant documents readily available to enable the following:- (a) Correct filling up of personal particulars. Details are to be filled up as given in the Matriculation Certificate. (b) Fields such as e-mail address, mobile number are mandatory fields and need to be filled. Print two copies of the online Application Form having the system generated Roll Number. One copy of this Application Form is to be duly signed and mailed (posted) to Post Box No. 04, Nirman Bhawan, New Delhi – 110 011 along with the following documents:- Self attested photograph, Attested photo copies of 10th &12th class certificates along with Mark Sheets, other educational certificates and mark sheets of all semester/years. (f) A superscription is to be made on envelope : ONLINE ROLL NO. __________ Application for SSC X(GS)/Technical Branch (E/L/SM) – DEC 2012 Course Qualification ______ Percentage _____% . i had applied for technical officer entry(electrical) and general services(executive)and in the advertisement it was written that ssb will be anytime in between may and september but i didn’t get my ssb date and it is nearing may now. infact it is quite confusing on indian navy website the link which says print your call letter here,after clicking i couldnt find any entry type related to the post i had applied. plz tell me whether the ssb dates for same are out and if i’ll not be selected then how will i come to know?

Presently i am a non – local resident of JAMMU city (because my dad is doing job at jammu as a transfer )…Completed his b.tech(2011 passout). Sir i till now i didn’t able to join any job because there is no suitable job which is available in this city for an Engineer in both govt and private sector for a non – local candidate and even my parents health does not remain well always(father suffering from skin disease from last 10 yrs and mother has hypertension problem ) … so even i can’t do any job at far places of other cities…my parents need me as a help always due to critical disease…I always help them in all possible ways…my question is what should i do if the INTERVIEWER ask me in SSB about “Why u didn’t u join any job till now ???” and also sir “”what u suggest me to do now ????

You are not working now, why don’t you go for further studies, you can say that you want to study more.
Your parents never wanted you to sit at home because of them. There are jobs, its just you are not trying and keeping hopes in Defence forces.
Suppose if you are not fit for Defence medically then what ?? whats you plans , life is not a cake walk. Keep your excuses a side. If you are not getting job them at least carry forward your studies .

i have tried it in all browsers several times. but the page dies as soon as it is about to generate the roll number.
I have written to Navy officials so many times but got no response from their side.

Need your help. I could not attend SSB on my primary date of reporting. Now i wish to attend on Sec. Date-21 Mar 2012. Do i need to take any proff or certificate why i could not ttend on prim date? Reason why cud not on Prim. Date was dat i did not get leave from my company.

No need, go in secondary date.
What should i tell them why i could not attend
They will not ask, that’s why they provide you secondary date, for your comfort go with a medical certificate.
sir, i have 60percent in degree as mumbai university consider only final year marks in degree but aggregate marks of 4years is 55 percent.can i apply??

i don’t know why final year students,completing their degree in may 2012 are not eligible for this course if the course is commencing in DEC 2012?when UES notification will come in June 2012,then also we will not be eligible as we would have completed our degree by that time and it is only for final year students(in case of Navy)….why is it so???Please reply
That’s there way, they do not allow final year students.Do not worry you will get chance after the completion of your degree.

There will be no written, you just need to apply, see the procedure above. Yes, you will have SSB if you get shortlisted .
