Sir please create an online request just similar as done in the case of removing the cutoff for 39 ssc. the new request is to be made to reconsider the educational qualification. like in 39ssc Btech(cs) & MSc(cs) can only apply but it’s the fact that MCA btech(it), MSc(it) are equivalent in nature and also airforce accepts MCA & IT students but in ARMY they don’t accept and also the core subjects of Btech(cs & it) , MCA etc are almost same.

There may come more updates but it is just a guessing , best thing is to ask army for this,they will tell you in more details.
sir i received message in that they mentioned you have to report in the bhopal station on 7th july and regarding that call up letter will be send to your mail. but i din’t receive any mail and also i con’t find my name in the list
Just keep checking in the mail you provided during registration , check in the spam mail also. You will get the email, do reservations in advance. Please contact army for more details.

Sir, I got my ssb call letter in my gmail for ssc-39(tech)in bhopal and I am supposed to report there on 24th june. But my name is not there in the army website’s list for bhopal which was updated on 16th may 2012,and I got mail on 30th may 2012. Sir, can I assume that my name is in the second call up list? sir my branch is electrical and electronics engg and in the coast guard asst commandant vacancy they have mentioned the branch as Electrical Engineering,but have not mentioned electrical and electronics branch,when i applied for TGC 116 entry they had mentioned that electrical (including electrical and electronics) is eligible but in the coast guard it is not mentioned.so can i apply under this or i have to apply for the entry where any graduate is eligible????

i got a call up letter for ssb-NT-10 course but due to final semester exams i could not attend the same. i had sent an extension letter to the selection centre with the required documents enclosed on 26/04/2012 but i have not received any response from them. when i called on the numbers’ given in the letter it was useless as none got picked up.
Kindly inform me about the ssb dates for tgc-115, ues-22 and ssc tech (w)-10th courses.
Please keep calling them, also do you have any other date mentioned in the call letter?? if so then you can directly go on that date.
TGC-115 is over, UES-22 dates are pending , SSC(w)-10th tech dates are linked above in the post.

sir in the indian coast guard advertisement among various branches mentioned electrical branch is mentioned,but my branch is electrical and electronics so am i eligible to apply under that??in case of tgc they write in brckets that electrical(electrical and electronics)is eligible but here it is not mentioned so so do i apply here or in the normal category where every bachelor degree with 60 pcent is eligible??
Electrical & Electronics comes under Electrical Branch, so apply for it.

can anyone tell me the basic difference between ssb interview conducted through ssc/tgc tech courses other than afcat/cdse conducted ssb interview?
@Vivek : The ssb procedure will remain the same for all entries , but only for afcat there will be one more extra test i.e PABT (Pilot Apptitude Battery Test)as it is an airforce entry and U can give this test one’s in ur lifetime…
After getting recommended the training location will change from entry to entry for army i.e for ssc ur training will be in OTA chennai or Gaya…and for remaining it will be at IMA dehradun….
TGC/SSC(army) is a technical entry , trg duration is 1 year.
CDSE(army) Non tech entry, trg duration 1 and half year.
AFACT(IAF) : tech, gdoc and flying entries.
sir while filling the army ssc 39 form i had written my 5th sem marks as 680 out of 1000 but by mistake i wrote it as 68.8% instead of 68%.i have 69 % in aggregate till 8 sem which i wrote as 69 % but 5sem % was wrong.will it be a problem in ssb??

these all r misconceptions……..defence selection is purely on ur present status….they select u on the basis of wt qualities u possess at the time of ssb…………..not earlier,so jst focus wt u hv to do at ssb….not on wt u hv done…………..all the best!!!!!!!!!!:)
They will ask you the reason for not joining earlier after getting recommend , and that will be a very crucial stage it may give wrong impression also, so think before speaking.

Okay , first make it clear that backlog history thing was not there at the time of applying , if this is correct then I guess Navy is using the same old copy of call letter and in that way backlog history statement is present in that. It might be the case but the only way to clarify this is by contact Indian Navy.
sir u r right even i feel that they are using the same old copy so it is there,,YES sir i am sure that this thing was not there at the time of applying,,i also asked people who have got letters and the r not bothered even a little bit because most of them have online admit cards and also they say this thing was not at the the time of applying.last yr there was an entry which specified not to have a backlog ever so they must be using that letter.and also since the online admit card does not mention it which is not old so i think we both are right.They dont pick up the phone i hv been trying since 3 days.

75% was for Women , you can check your name in the list linked above in this blog. Only one list of Bangalore is pending for SSC-39th.

Is the same cut off rule mentioned in the call letter, if so then you are not eligible because that rule still holds for SSC-10th , please call the SSB board and ask them same to them, there might be chances that they are not following the cut off now.
@Kanika , sometimes few students gets the call letter earlier than the update of online list.

1.If you attend TGC-115 you will not be eligible for SSC-39th
2.If you attend TGC-116 you will not be eligible for SSC-40th
They will mention the 2nd point in the notification of SSC-40th, not in TGC-116 notification.

Hello sir,In the call letter they have mentioned “No vision defect i.e., vision corrected by glasses”.But I have a distant vision problem and my power is -2.5 for both the eyes.Will I be allowed to attend the interview?

Sir but in the notification released it was mentioned ‘Distant vision(corrected) better eye 6/6 worse eye 6/18.Myopia of not more than -3.5 including astigmatism’.They mentioned corrected in brackets.I am very confused why they had given it like that.I guess corrected means corrected by glasses.

Did you try to contact SSB board ?? is the same cut off rule mentioned in the SSB call letter ?? Please call the SSB board and ask them whether the cut off rules still holds.

I feel sorry for this, just by some % you are facing this, please keep calling them and confirm it , but rules are rules and at last you have to go by rule.

Try to call them and mail them, if you already got another date then go for it, not necessary to inform them, anyhow they will not respond properly

Sometimes it is difficult to get response from there side, as I said if you have already got secondary date then you can direct attend on that day, , just leave a mail to them and try calling on the number mentioned in your call letter.

You are not eligible , same rules for TGC115 also. How can you apply for same entry twice.
TGC115 and SSC39 are same course , the difference is TGC is PC and SSC-39 is SSC .
sir, i have gone in TGC-115 entry and again i have applied for SSC-39,
so, is there anything that those who hve gone to tgc-115 they cannot go to SSC-39 entry ??
Yes , you can’t apply for SSC 39, by applying TGC 115 you automatically apply for SSC-39 also, if you get merit out in TGC-115 then you will go for SSC-39.
In direct SSC-39 there is no PC (TGC).
sir for ssc(t)-39 only banglore list is out or other for allhabad and banglore is also out..coz the roll no which are closer to me are there but mine is not there…mine b.tech aggregate is 75% till 3rd year and in 10th it is 74% and in 12 it is 62%…is there any chance dat my ssb will come…i am very depressed…now…

I have two problems-
— I got the mail of call up letter of sscw(tech),in which they said to join SSB Interview in absentee batch but in the list,
my name is in regular batch.
— And my DOB is printed wrong in this list.
So what should i do now.?
First check whether the name in the list is your or not, someone else also has the same name, check by DOB, if the DOB is wrong then you can correct it in SSB center while attending SSB Interview.
If you missed regular date then go in absentee if not then go in regular batch.

I have been working in Bangalore for the past 11 months.
I dropped a mail to the centre regarding the same.Also I called them many a times.No body is answering.Can you please help me out in proceeding further in this situation.
Hi , if you are in Bangalore then please visit the center once and do the formalities , even then they are not giving response properly than attend the SSB at Bangalore only. All the best.

Yes , but please talk to the concerned SSB board first, they may tell you exactly if you can or not, but there are chances that you may get some other dates .

1. For which board you have got nominated , if Bhopal then check the Bhopal list which is got updated.
2. Did you apply for SSCW(tech)10 ?? or its a wrong mail ?
3. If you have missed the regular batch then you can go in absentee batch, but contact the concerned SSB board in this regard.
4. If it is Bhopal and 3rd may then your name must be in the list updated .

dear sunil this doesn’t effect ur analyser there,screened out is also treated as fresher only,moreover being not recommended is not an issue,they analyse each person wd same procedure regardless of how many times he/she has appeared earlier for ssb.

check ur serial no. ther in the letter,u must have applied for tgc(written form )or ssc entry…..the call letter is for that only
Rajat , CDSE 1 2012 result is still pending . Can you please go thorough the letter once again and tell the course name , date and necessary details. Did you apply for any other entry , make sure you know why you got that letter.

Hi, can you tell me who told you that cut off is 75% , if you got this confirmation from the correct department then there will a possibility else in most cases mostly all gets the call letter.

when r the likely dates for announcement of tgc-115 merit list and what are the no. of seats they fill in the merit list because evry year the intake is much higher than the no. of vacancy.kindly explain it.
Merit list mostly come 1 month before the training , I can not tell how many number of seats are going to fill this time, but it will be more than available seats which were mentioned in the advertisement.

@Jagdish : If your name doesn’t come in the tgc115 merit list ,only then you will be shifted to ssc i.e your name will come in SSC list…Then your training will be at OTA Gaya…But if your name comes in tgc 115 merit list then your training will be carried out at IMA Dehradun…

@Jagdish , whatever Ajay said is correct , if not TGC then SSC. SSC takes place in OTA Gaya and TGC in IMA. The intake is always more, it just depends on the actual number of vacancies present at that time. They mention the minimum number of seats in advertisement.
DO ALL THE CANDITATES RECOMMENDED N FIT GET THE CALL,AS I HV HEARD IT FROM SOME PERSONS?
You will get it mostly , in TGC or else in SSC. All the best.

on 26th april i had my ssb in allahabad for tgc 115..in ppdt my narration was quite good..with high vocabulary and story was quite innovative…many in my batch had the same type of story with good narration and G.D also went satisfactory..but when result came..the only boy who got selected from my group had stuck many a times during his narration and he didnt participate at all in the G.D..but still he got through..how should i improve myself regarding the screening so that i clear it in next chance..
Rohit, actually in Allahabad specially in TGC they make huge group and later they pick 1 or 2 odd one. Do no think of it and try to attempt some regular entries also. You are best, just believe in you.
So sir..will the entry for ssc tech39 be same as that of tgc 115 which i have given.?i mean the mode of screening with a huge group and selecting a few odd ones.?

Hello sir…I have scored 70.5% marks till 7th sem in B.tech and i’m appearing fr my 8th sem exams now…My PCM% in 12th standard is 68%…one of my frnd gt a msg for SSB interview at Bhopal on 27th May fr SSC-Tech-10….i called at Delhi office and the sir who pickd d call said that cut off is 77-75%…i’m really disappointed…will i gt a SSB call??? plz help me sir…

nothing can b done about dis coz its totally dere wish dat what cut off dey wan to set… If dey hav kept cut of to 75% dis tym den u r nt going 2 get any call for ssb…
Sargam, there is no cut off, almost all gets the call letter, 77% cutoff ?? It is not possible. Do not worry and prepare for your SSB . All the best.

I have 72% in 10th and 12th and 66 % in B.Tech and I got call each and everytime(SSC+TGC), so no worry you ‘ll get call definitely, buckle up and start preparation.
Me too having the same problem sir.I have 76% in 10th, 78% in 12th & 69.64% in BE till 7th sem. 8th sem result will declare in july. what can I do now ? plzz suggest me.
Rakhi if the call up comes based on % then it will be based on the marks you have filled at the time of applying .
ok sir…but 75% cut off marks are very high. its not good decision for the people like me those who are only dreaming for indian army & its not necessary that everybody of above 75% wants to join indian army.I will try it through cds entry..thans for the reply sir..Jai hind!!!

2. Make sure you do not put so many hard words.
3. While narrating be calm and frame your story well while narrating.
