To all Navy aspirants waiting for the call letter for SSC(TECH)|| SSC(GX)|| SSC(HYDRO) ||- Dec 2012 COURSE  can check their SSB Interview dates now.
Interviews are starting from June 2012 onwards, you can check your respective e-mail ids for call up letter details.Also you will get a e-mail SMS from TD-InNavy regarding the same.

Wrong dates are mentioned in few SMSs sent by Navy so kindly check the call letter for correct SSB Date.

 Now Navy sending the SMS again with correct dates, Cheers 




There are two methods to print your call letter:


Few details are required to be enter to print your call up letter:
  • Select type of Entry ,First letter of your Name ,  First letter of  Father’s Name and DOB
OR
  • Select type of Entry, Registration number.
You can get your registration number from the application form which you have had submitted while applying earlier, or else you will get it in the SMS or email.

    7. Respected Sir,
      Navy has given advertisement for applications inviting SSC GS Executive. They have mentioned that if a candidate possesses higher qualification then the percentage of higher qualification will be considered for cut off. Sir, I have given an exam for my Post Graduation in May and the results are expected in November 2012. However the last date for filling up form is 6th October 2012. With my percentage in B.E (64.3%) I could not make it through the cut off last time.
      Please advice what to do? and how to fill up the application

    10. 1. In GD for PPDT, will everyone get their chance or we have to bring the situation under control?

      2. Can we say like ‘Gentleman, lets go one by one so that we get an effective story’ to bring the situation under control?

      3. Will the officer select person who speaks even through it is like fish market or he will select silent candidate?

      • GD is completely informal, so you can take discussion in any manner you want to.

        It may surprise you but a fish market is considered as very active group by board members. . . But try not to make a fish market. The discussion should remain healthy and shouldn’t turn to be an ugly one.

        I was only able to get white t shirt with a small logo near chest and sorts with ‘FETCH JEANS’ printed near left thigh…
        This will be a problem or I need to get only pure white t shirt and sorts.

      I have a doubt. Do they conduct SSB Interview by type of entry or it is common? Like do they put SSC(TECH), SSC(GX), SSC(Hydro) together or only candidates for SSC(Tech) IT will be having SSB?

      • Thanks Basavraj, I guess they will be having few more batches too for IT as there is more and more activity from China now a days.. They are trying in all possible ways to intercept our data and hack our data.. Keep hoping for the best..

        May be they are considering IT experience I guess.. And I have 75% with no arrears history..

        I am B.E.(CSE) with 75% and no history of arrears. I do have IT experience too.. May be that helped me to get selected.

        From what I heard there are gonna be few other batches too. So keep your fingers crossed..

      • they are giving calls on the basis of lottery system. There are candidates who are having 91 percent but they didn’t get the call. So i hope your luck is good enough to receive the SSB call

      • No they are not considering any factors, IT experience?? there is a candidate who got call without any IT experience and that is his thirteenth attempt whereas there is another candidate with two years of IT experience and recommended thrice but he didn’t get the call.

      try giving ur first letter of the name and father’s name and ur DOB

      • they are not giving calls on the basis of percentage, there are several candidates who had percentage of ninety one percent but didn’t receive call. . . They are giving SSB calls on lottery system, so hope for the best.

    17. guys i also applied for SSC(IT) ,i think they are issuing the SSB call letter,they have mentioned it in their website,but when am entering my reg no ,it coming “NO RECORD FOUND” , i don know whats the prob! plz help me

    20. Sir, i have to report to navy campus interview for SSC in sept. but they have not mentioned any dress code.

      What should i wear ?
      Is it a one day interview ?
      Also what kind of preparation should i do ? My b-tech subjects or g.k, english , history stuff ? i m in final year.

      • I think you are talking about UES one, kindly revise all your technical subjects. Also, take your extra curricular certificates with you. . . In some region they are taking only interview but in most of the region the naval team is conducting a group discussion followed by interview. . . Yes, the process will be finished within one day.

      • You can not live with your parents in the SSB Board, only you will get the accommodation and food facility free of cost.

        Read the Navy official advertising to know your role as an Naval Officer.

      i have a similar question to a person asked above regarding eye sight, i have got the call letter for SSC GS(X) to be conducted July first week, while applying there were no instructions about eye sight but now in call letter they say no eye sight ie correction by glasses.

      So my question is now as i have glasses should i attend SSB or should i drop from attending it?
      Sir why do they ask about eye sight for officers, i am completely fit except for Eye sight.

      Please reply sir,should i attend or should i drop.

      • Sir, its exactly written like this

        “No Vision Defect i.e Vision corrected by glasses”

        sir that line is really testing my english abilities, should i take it as vision corrected by glasses or no vision corrected by glasses.

        and i got this doubt because while applying in notification no where it is mentioned about the (eye sight) except for height and weight standards. and this call letter instructions seems to be common for all SSB’s not for this specific one.

    40. Sir,
      I have 64.3% in B.E Environmental Engineering. I applied for SSC Hydro Dec 2012 entry. I did not get SMS or mail. I called Navy, they said cut off was 65%.
      I have been recommended by IAF few months ago. and it seems i lost on Navy by 0.7%.
      So it is possible for me to still get a call from Navy? it is my second last attempt and I am very very nervous and anxious about this SSC Hydro.

      how will i identify the officer who going to pick up from railway station at coimbatore.In my call letter i hadn’t been given any details regarding that.I tried to call the toll free no i till this date couldnt get any response.please help me out.

      • First of all you will see many candidates there and most of them will be aware of the pick up location. Just reach the place mentioned in the call letter and do not worry , they will be in uniform.

Hello sir, I want to know from u that I am a 2011 B.tech pass out candidate .I had appeared for all competitive exam in which i was eligible (like all PSU ,CPF ,BANK PO)in last 10 months and even i got a job in ICICI bank as Probationary officer .THE date of joining training is on 25 may, but i don’t want to join .Sir i have much interest in defense from a very long time and very eager to join it.So my question is that “what to write in PIQ for current occupation column” or also tell me what to say to interviewer , when he asked “why u did not joined job” ???? please tell me sir what to say and what to write…my parents are also supporting me and giving me full support …please answer it!!!!

      • First of all the IO will ask you do you have any other career option in mind except Defense ?? you should not run behind one career blindly , a smart person always keep a safe side for him/her. Not joining any other job just because you want to join Defence is not a clever opinion, you have to pass SSB first then medicals and then merit list, how long can you wait when you do not know when are you going to recommend . Join a job and apply for SSB side by side , that is the good way indeed.

    51. Sir i want to know that i have my ssb interview on 20th jun in NSB AGRANI Coimbatore. They have mentioned the time for reporting to be 0600 hrs whether the screening will be on the same day or the next day.

      • Sir, I got my admit card in that the time mentioned for call is 0600 hrs and they have mentioned that Stage 1 testing will be on the following day. Does this means that it will be on next day if so why they are calling early in morning, plz help sir I even have mailed my querry to NSB Coimbatore authority and trying to call them but unfortunately no one has answered yet.

    54. Hello sir, below i am writing my 12th story of TAT. please after reading my story, reveal my sub-conscious intention and also tell me can i write this in my TAT :

      Adarsh was a B.tech graduate.He was having strong desire for becoming officer in defense forces since his school days.He was very passionate to see officers around his environment and he always want to learn and adopt all the qualities of an officer.During his graduation, he applied for all services in which he was eligible and in few of them he also cleared the initial stages but could not get it through. From that time he had been consecutively appeared four times & trying his best to get selected as soon as possible but he could not excel due to lack of proper practice and unsatisfactory knowledge.This time on his fifth attempt ,he after filling the forms started his preparation from starting itself. He realized his past performance corrected his faults by putting much efforts on to it.He also noted down his strength and weakness. He made decision to overcome his weakness by spending much time on to it.He go for regular exercise to come up to an optimum level & also to remain fit both physically and mentally.ALL these boosted him with confidence.This time as per planning he appeared for the tests and stage by stage cleared all the rounds and also got selected .He was very thrilled when he saw his name in the merit list after few months through the internet.HE felt very happy after fulfilling his dream.He made his parents feel proud.

      sir please write your opinion on to it, can i write this story in in my TAT 12th picture or not. I am a repeater, appearing 5th time and is very despirate to join…please reply …

      • First of all excellent writing skills Sunil , keep it up.

        This story seems your own real life story, and yes the 12th picture (Blank) must be something related to out life.

        Yes you can write this story , because I found it very well explained story, it also shows many qualities which Psych and other offices will surely judge .

        Make sure you have proper time to write lengthy stories, but do not make it very long and try to keep it brief yet powerful.

In the above story i have mentioned my interest in defense through this story.Sir , i have confusion that in the beginning of Psychology test , the officer over their instruct that “It is test of imagination” … So, if i write this directly i am writing about defense . Will it be suitable to write this because no imagination ,… or shall i modified in some other way…please clear my doubts sir..please…

      • @Sunil , no it fine, 12th picture is a blank slide , so you can imagine what you want to imagine , in case of other 11 picture you have to write according to the picture.

Hello sir ,i got short-listed for NAVY (GS -ELECTRICAL ), my SSB is on 25 MAY, I WANT TO KNOW FROM U THAT WHEN I APPLIED FOR THIS ENTRY FEW MONTHS BACK ,I HAD MENTION THE CURRENT ADDRESS OF JAMMU because i was staying with my parents BUT just after 10 days i joined a job at HYDERABAD for time being in CORE company , so that i can also attend SSB side by side and get recommended as soon as possible. Sir now my current location has changed and now i am staying in Hyderabad with other employees in room, SO is it necessary to change my Current Address to Hyderabad (or) if i don’t change then how can i correlate this with the “IO” in SSB because i have mentioned the current address of jammu ? Please guide me in this station , what to do now ????? please sir……

      • Hi

        First of all what you are saying here related to your change of place coz of job and stuff, seems legit . Try to tell them the same, its very common.

        Also if you get recommend then you can change your current address, so that your get the docs at rite place. Try to use the address which is safe and convenient for you.

      i have applied FOR SSC GS(TECH)& SSC GS(X). CHOICE OF ENTRY: SSC GS (X)- 1, SSC GS (TECH)-2. But i got call letter for only SSC GS(X), Will i get another call letter for ssc GS(TECH)or am i rejected for SSC GS(tech). my percentage is 72.2%

      • You will get only one call letter, which you already got.
        You are called according to the choices you gave , suppose after getting recommend if you gets merit out in GS(x) then you may get a seat in tech which is your second choice.

      i got the mail from navy and i successfully generate the call letter &
      i done my b.tech in 2010,at present i’m doing m.tech in college but my original certificates are kept under the college administration because of the university rules.

      what i have to do now for further process plz give me a best suggestion to get succeed in the selection process>>

      one more thing is that
      “plz mention preparation books & materials for that selection process”

      • 1. Try to take the original certificates from college, I know you can get them with little efforts, why I am saying so because if you go with originals, you will not face the weird questions asked by the management there.

        2. If you are not getting originals , take the custodian certificates and attested photocopy of all necessary docs (must)

        3. Fresher?? go for a professional coaching , it seriously helps.

      • First of all do not take tension and say All is Well 🙂

        1. Yes custodian and Attested photocopy will work , but as I said try to take the original if possible .

        2. Click here for 5 day procedure

        3. You can join a good coaching academy to know what you are suppose to do and going to do in SSB , that called professional coaching .

        4. You can go with anyone but inside the SSB board campus except you no one else will get accommodation, you have to make arrangement outside for others for 5 days ( if you clear screening on 1st day ) , though your relatives can come to meet you inside the board according to given time.

        5. If you get the call letter then check all the necessary items clothes are mentioned in that itself.

    71. sir i have been called at ssb bangalore on 11-05-2012. but i am confused about physical standards. i wear glasses of power -2.00. website nausena-bharti.nic.in doesnt contain any eyesight standards for officers technical entry in indian navy.
      am i eligible or not?

    73. hi sir i was not able to generate my ssb call letter, my APPLICATION NO-SGL1220107718, my Date of Birth is 28-Jan-2012, and i am eligible as per notification and applied for DEC 2012 course with the following choices :
      CHOICE OF ENTRY- [1] GS(ELECTRICAL) [2] SSC(HYDRO) [3] SSC{GS(X)}, but i was not able to generate my ssb call letter from our official website http://nausena-bharti.nic.in, didnt receive any confirmation from navy , till now i gave 5 ssb’s in that 1 in navy, and my percentage is 60.23% will i get ssb call letter

    74. Sir I have applied For SSC (sub) mechanical entry as my first preference. I have not received any message or mail from navy also call letters available in navy site is for SSC (hydro), SSC (tech) and SSC (GS X). Is is because still Navy has to give an option for SSC (sub) or any thing else? My B.tech % is 74.4, I have already given SSB for SSC (tech) for jul 2012 course.
