  2. hello sir,
my ssb at AFSB-4 varanasi is on 3rd December’ 2012 (through AFCAT entry). But due to my college exams i cannot attend it at that time.
In my call letter there is only one date mentioned. There is no absentee batch mentioned in it.
i called at varanasi centre and they asked me to call after 3rd. But i afraid that i may lose the opportunity as they may say that i did not reported in regular batch or did not called on time.
    What should i do now??
Kindly reply ASAP as there is not much time left..
    Thanks..

  3. i also hv my ssb on 3rd dec…. n my semester exams r clashing with it.. ive tried to call them … bt nobody z responding….plz guide me through the procedure…

    • If its for AFCAT then you may literally go to the AFSB on the day you want, with your call letter. Send them a FAX about you postponing with a valid reason and proof.
      Good Luck.

  7. hello,
i have my afcat number published in the revised result giving my clearance in the exam, but i couldnt find my name or AFCAT NUMBER in the CALL UP LIST for 2 nov and 7 nov?

    please help me out…!

  8. Dear Aspirants,
The revised list for AFCAT 02/2012 is out now.
Earlier list had about 14500 candidates shortlisted, whereas I notice in the new list there are about 15500 being shortlisted.

But also I noticed that few roll numbers were not there adjacent to my roll number which were previously shortlisted.
One can’t fail to notice the last page of the result where previously only 15 service candidates without roll no. were shortlisted. Whereas in the revised it has gone upto 28!!!

And mind you that these are only the service candidates who didnt have roll no. surely the ones with roll no also might have gone up(surprise surprise civilians!)

Lets just hope this has benefited the most than any harm.

    R.

  9. Sir, some people say that varanasi is a good centre for the ssb, and other say dehradun :/.. Is there any diffrence in the selection centre in the way of strictness?? like Allahbad is called the “Rejection Board”, Because they make the condition a little more tough for the canditates. Is same thing true in case of Varanasi and Dehradun??
