AFCAT 02/2012 results still remains as a mystery, but won’t be for so long. IAF is going to publish correct and actual results soon. IAF stated, the delay was due to technical fault which sent some auto generated e-mails to few candidates to attend AFSB interview. IAF says, few aspirants those who were fail in AFCAT 02/2012, also got the mail for AFSB interviews, by mistake.

Just a while ago, AFCAT cell sent a mail to all asiprants, which is some thing like this.
“Dear Candidate,
Please refer results of AFCAT 02/2012 which has been held in abeyance due to technical issues and e-mails which had been auto generated to some of you.
The IAF deeply regrets the inconvenience caused to you due to circumstances beyond its control and is making every effort to ensure that correct results are uploaded as early as possible.
Please ignore all correspondence on the subject so far and kindly await the uploading of results in a few days time on our website ‘www.careerairforce.nic.in‘.

Conclusion:
- A part of aspirants may loose their chance with the new list.
- Discrepancy happened in AFCAT 02/2012 results is untenable. It caused lot of discomfort to IAF aspirants.
- How will IAF give some real assurance about fresh results. It questions the whole process of AFCAT.
- Will they use more fool proof method next time? How about OMR sheets ? Hope for less cumbersome process next time.
at the time of exam, as soon as i saw manual answer sheets.i was worried about correction. because how much ever the officers do correct corrections, human errors are inevitable and it will effect the candidates very seriously in his trust for such exams.
