What To Do After Filling Forms for Defence Entry?

With December approaching along with chilling winter there are many notifications in the air that December will again open door of opportunities for the defence entrance. Aspirants! Gear up its time to get into action again. I can understand that it’s difficult to get up early, go for jog, exercise and get into fitness, but that’s the need of the hour and you have to do it if you have chosen a difficult pathway of serving our motherland. It’s gonna be anyway your daily job at Siachen. So why not start today.

Notifications for TGC-121 and AFCAT 2015 have been released by the respective forces and the forms gonna come soon in December. What should be the strategy for working after filling the forms? It’s really very easy. For direct entry the aspirants should work regularly to be fit and bring change in their core personality aspects which indeed need time. I have seen people waiting for the call letter and then stating preparation for SSB when there is hardly any time left. All AFCAT aspirants are expected to work hard for the written exam as the exam would be scheduled in February. Simultaneously the aspirants should start preparation for SSB as personality development and change is a long process and has a cycle period of about three months so work accordingly.
The few tips can quickly work for you:
  • Learn time management and decide on your priorities which can help you excel in limited time.
  • Start working over psychology as individual assessments are done there and it’s only you who need to perform at such a test. You can be decent in group performance but you need to be excellent in individual performance.
  • I have seen majorly psych defaults in case of repeaters so all those guys who belong to this category need to brush up the fundamentals of human psychology, understand the basic need and forget the preconceived ideas that are actually rubbish and blockage for their success at SSB.

  • Don’t dare wait for the last moment else it’s a waste of time going for SSB without preparation. It’s not a free trip but a dream thousands of aspirant see every day. So work proportionately to achieve.
  • All the workaholic people who want to switch their job and see dreams of defence need to take out time from their busy schedules and work on psychology as that’s the most impacted entity due to the culture you belong to. So better be aware.
Still If you have any confusion or feel the need to take individual assessment of personality for olq’s or prepare from your place itself through one to one interaction through my mentoring / counselling program drop me a mail at [email protected]or add me on Fb and drop in a message. It would be a pleasure to clear the myths in the minds of aspirants and remove the blockage of queries as free mind helps in best preparation and concentrating on goal.
