A soldier’s life is one of perpetual perils and challenges. Yet, it is perhaps among the noblest and most fulfilling careers one can hope to pursue. We here at Minerva Academy acknowledge the toil and personal sacrifice of our honourable men and women in uniform and salute their courage! It is with this deep sense of gratitude that we wish to give a little something back to our heroes at the frontline.

Over this time, Minerva Academy has achieved an unbeatable record of selections and success stories. 1 in every 4 officers of the Armed forces is believed to be a Minervan. Minerva Academy has trained more than 35000 candidates successfully to become officers for the Indian Armed forces since inception and over 1000 have achieved top ranks and honors during their career in the services. Infact Minerva Academy has an impressive list of Alumni including “The Bravest of the Brave”- PVC Captain Vikram Batra and “IAF First and Only PVC awardee”- PVC Flying Officer Nirmaljit Singh Sekhon and many more Mahavir Chakra awardees and Shaurya Chakra awardees. Infact even General JJ Singh, Ex Chief of Army Staff is also a proud Minervan. Minerva Academy is the pioneer in its field and many copy cat institutions have come and gone over the years but Minerva Academy has always remained Number 1 owning to its’s unique training methodology which has its foundation in the tried and tested techniques passed down by Lt. Col. Deol, yet it is constantly updating its curriculum according to the latest trends and developments at the SSB centres and in the interview and testing processes. Just recently Minerva Academy, in the true spirt of being Pioneers, became the first and only institute in the country to offer CPSS (Computerised Pilot Selection System) Training to candidates applying for all aviation branches of army, navy and airforce.
In our 60th glorious year, Minerva Academy will be offering all wards of our defence forces heroes (men and women of the Indian armed forces who have either been martyred or disabled in any theatre of encounter / war) a full scholarship under the ‘Param Vir Chakra Captain Vikram Batra Scholarship Programme’ .This is inclusive of boarding and lodging for any of the courses offered at Minerva Academy. We pledge to provide them with the finest training available for entry into the armed forces, by the best, most experienced and highly qualified faculty at Minerva. We pledge to help them emulate their noble parents, or go even further by becoming commissioned officers in the Indian Armed Forces.
This scholarship will help the meritorious and motivated children of our fallen or injured heroes come one step closer to their dream of serving the nation valiantly too. A candidate by the name of Manpreet Kaur; daughter of Late L/Naik S Dhian Singh was the first recipient of full scholarship under the Param Vir Chakra Captain Vikram Batra Scholarship Programme of Minerva Academy which offers full scholarship towards of servicemen who have laid down their lives in the line of duty. Her father belonged to the 52 Bengal Regiment and lost his life while battling terrorists in 1992. He showed immense courage and bravery for which he was awarded the Shaurya Charka. Another case is that of candidate Meenu Malik; daughter of Late Hawaldar Raj Kumar Malik who was also the recipient of full scholarship under the Param Vir Chakra Captain Vikram Batra Scholarship Programme of Minerva Academy. Candidate Vikas Rana ,also a recipient of full scholarship under the Programme, is the son of Late Surjeet Singh Rana of 14 Grenadiers Regiment who was martyred when he was shot by terrorists while returning from Kargil in 2007.
