Having a military beau is pretty amazing but all good things do come with their downsides as well. Nonetheless you do have a man who is going to look after you like anything. Following are a few points that you should keep in mind if your romantic interest is a “man in uniform.”
#10 loneliness
He is duty bound and will always give priority to his work. You would always be his second priority after his beloved country, or wait, may be you actually hit the rock bottom of the priority list with country topping followed by the family and friends. Not that he does not love you enough, just that he himself dos not have time for his own life. So, long hours of training and combative exercises take a toll on your relationship.
#9 An early riser
Second point on the list ten things to bear in mind if you have got a military beau is waking up in the wee hours. No matter if you are a night owl or you love waking up late in the morning, to keep pace with your beau, you eventually will start learning to admire the first rays of sun and fall in love with the morning freshness.
#8 Quality work out
The best part of having a military man is one commences liking the much hated cardio, aerobics, jogging, running and whole host of other variety of workout sessions available.. Working out seems fun and adorable when you have a man around you who is so used to his military drills that no matter what you do is a joke for him. . After a while even if he is unavailable you would enjoy it solitary.
#7 This is the diet
When talking of ten things to bear in mind if you have got a military beau, how could we not mention the diet? The quality of food you consume, the choices you make with respect to the food that goes in your stomach will improve significantly . From junk, fast food: you would switch to much healthier, fulfilling and quality choices. Thanks to your military man where gluten and carbs will rarely get a chance to glide through your esophagus.
#6 Responsible
Everything around is systematic and methodical. You cannot go on with your rough, haphazard ways. You would learn to be more responsible and careful with your dealings and realize that you are maturing up. (a person you never were before or a person you could be?) Consistent trotting around the globe, will teach you how to look after your luggage,
#5 Independence
He is going to be so very unavailable that he would mostly be absent from your lives. Your best moments including your birthdays, anniversaries, the grand champagne busting success, everything is to be celebrated alone and also the sorrows, a bad day, tears, flak and hatred, everything is to be managed all by yourselves and independently which of course makes you emotionally vulnerable in the beginning but strong in the end. #4 A classy lady
Even if you are raised a tom boy and have male like cognitive skills (that’s mostly me), your military man will make you realize every now and then that you are a lady. He literally will always think that you can not keep pace up with his mental and physical standards and you would always be his little kid and he your man of the dreams.
#3 A patient listener
You can rabbit endlessly and he would give you a patient listening even though he is very much aware of what is going on in your head and he actually is aware of all the crap you rant or are about to, yet he would act as naive as he can to let you puke out everything.
#2 Workaholic
You can not afford to be a couch potato being a military love. Seeing your man engaging in dozens of activities, nailing every hurdle smoothly will give you hell lot of goose bumps. Gradually you would learn to keep yourself busy, multi task in a fast and ferocious manner similar to him and would love being a workaholic which is a good thing actually.
#1 Mentally strong
If you are anything like me, you would love to compete and a military man is hell strong mentally with very sharp cognitive skills. Once you start competing against to defeat him on the mental fronts (which will never happen though), you would realize that you have turned smarter than you ever were. Your judgment, decision making, problem solving skills, reaction time go a notch higher. I had to being mental strength on ten things to bear in mind if you have got a military beau.
In a nutshell do not forget thanking him for all the lessons your military man teaches you while being both available and unavailable in both a direct and in an indirect fashion. It is a mixture of positive and negative emotions and they are just the moments, and as they say, “it shall pass too.”
