  1. Cycling – Cycling is always considered as the best physical exercise. Several soldiers use cycles in the Armed Forces to keep themselves fit and training academies also prefer it as a causal vehicle of personal transport.
  2. Running – Running keeps body fit and reduces the fat content of the body. It also brings the stamina quotient up and helps in  maintaining a healthy body and mind. Try to run according to the time in order to measure your performance level. This can be a question in a personal interview or can be causally asked by the GTO in tasks.
  3. Opt Any Team Sports – Team sports are very crucial as it develops many qualities like cooperation, concentration, active mental activity and physical stamina. Either play it with your society friends or college candidates can opt any sports club. This will also affect your communication skill and social mixing up and most importantly teaches leadership.
  4. Skipping – Skipping always opted for warming up and is the easiest way to keep the body fit and needs less space and efforts. It includes hand’s constant activity and jumping makes your legs tough.
  5. Basic Physical Exercise – We all have done some basic exercises in our school days. Those were meant to improve the basic physical fitness. Some of the basic things that are included in basic physical exercise are sit-ups, push- ups, chin-ups etc. which can be easily done at the house or any open area. Yoga is also emerging as the technique to make the body fit by applying negligible efforts.

Conclusion – Officers are made to lead and command. But Armed Forces always emphasizes on physical fitness as it proportionally affects the mental ability of the person.
