Indian Military Academy passing out parade was held on 10 Dec 2016 as many as 401 gentlemen cadets passed out from the IMA with flying colours. Indian Military Academy is one of the top most defence academies in our country which is producing brave and talented officers since ages.
Uttar Pradesh (UP) tops the list of States with a contribution of 77 GCs to the passing out contingent. Another small state Haryana is on the second place in the list with 46 candidates while Uttarakhand is on third position with 29 GCs.
Out of the 401 gentlemen cadets the maximum 77 are from Uttar Pradesh, 46 from Haryana, 29 from Uttarakhand, 28 from Bihar and 26 from Rajasthan.
