BSF Jawan Tej Bahadur Yadav who became an internet personality of sorts after his viral Facebook video showed the poor quality of food that was being served. The Border Security Force Jawan who took the nation on a storm was back in news as rumours of his death began spreading like a wildfire on the social media.
A picture collage of the Jawan had been circulating on Twitter and Facebook which shows a martyred Jawan’s picture beside Tej Bahadur’s photo with the message that the BSF Jawan had been killed. The picture that is doing the rounds on the internet claims that Tej Bahadur had gone missing after exposing the corruption and thievery in Indian Army and has been killed. BSF jawan Tej Bahadur Yadav alleges ‘mental torture’ in a new video; urges PM Modi to intervene.
However, this image is another work of internet death hoax that has gone viral. The picture used to spread the rumour is said to be of one of the twelve martyred CRPF jawan from Chattisgarh. A picture collage of the two Jawans has been doing the rounds in Twitter and one particular user captioned the picture, “Looks like Indian BSF Jawan, Tej Bahadur Yadav who exposed Indian Army thievery & corruption & then went missing, has been killed. #Kashmir.”
