Flying Officer, Yogesh Yadav suffered the injury in 2018 during an ejection, just 10 days short of PoP which rendered him paraplegic. He went back to AFA to resume training and got commissioned.

Back in 2018, just 10 days before his Passing out Parade(PoP), Flt CDT (now Flying Officer) Yogesh Yadav of the NDA-133 Course (Echo Squadron) had to eject from his jet i.e. Kiran Trainer Aircraft due to some technical glitch while undergoing a routine training mission. After years of hard work, there was a huge improvement in his health and he has finally passed out today as a Flying Officer that too first in merit (ACCTS). Grit, Determination and Perseverance.
