The Celebrations at Red Fort

The ceremony was as grand as one could expect. The Ministry of Defence informed that the Rashtriya Salute, a ceremonial homage, was presented as the Prime Minister unfurled the National Flag. This honor was performed by an assembly comprising five officers and 128 Other Ranks from the Army, Navy, Air Force, and Delhi Police. Major Abhinav Detha from the Army led this Inter-Services Guard and Police Guard.

Once the flag was majestically hoisted, the skies above the Red Fort witnessed a mesmerizing aerial display. Two Dhruv advanced light helicopters Mark-III, proudly made in India, scattered a sea of flower petals. With the ambiance set, the Prime Minister took the stage to address the nation, capturing the attention and hearts of billions.
