Exercise Lamitiye 2024: Strengthening India-Seychelles Defense Ties through Joint Military Training

In a significant move to bolster military cooperation and bilateral defense relations, the Indian Army is set to participate in a joint military exercise with the Seychelles Defence Forces (SDF). Scheduled to take place from March 18 to 27, 2024, in Seychelles, this initiative, dubbed Exercise Lamitiye 2024, symbolizes the strong ties between India and Seychelles.

The exercise aims to facilitate the sharing of experiences and development of interoperability among the participating contingents to effectively undertake joint operations.
