Indian Army Chief Inaugurates Advanced Healthcare Facilities at AHRR, Delhi

General Pande took the opportunity to interact with military personnel from Friendly Foreign Countries who are currently undergoing training at the facility.

In a significant move towards enhancing the healthcare services for the armed forces, General Manoj Pande, the Chief of Army Staff (COAS), along with Mrs. Archana Pande, President of the Army Wives Welfare Association (AWWA), made a notable visit to the Army Hospital Research and Referral (AHRR) in Delhi Cantonment. The visit marked the inauguration of several transformative initiatives and facilities aimed at bolstering the healthcare infrastructure for military personnel.

During the visit, General Pande inaugurated a series of cutting-edge healthcare facilities at AHRR. The newly launched Radiological Information & Digital Image Networking System is expected to revolutionize the diagnostic processes by facilitating faster and more accurate imaging services.

Additionally, the expansion of the Department of Physical Medicine, Rehabilitation & Sports Medicine is a leap forward in offering specialized care and support for the rehabilitation of injured soldiers, ensuring their swift and effective return to duty.

The inauguration also saw the launch of an Integrated Maternal and Child Outpatient Department (OPD) facility, significantly enhancing the healthcare provisions for the families of army personnel. This initiative underscores the Indian Army’s commitment to providing comprehensive healthcare solutions to its members and their families.

Furthermore, General Pande took the opportunity to interact with military personnel from Friendly Foreign Countries who are currently undergoing training at the facility.
