Indian Navy Announces Revised Exam Date for INCET 01/2024, Now Set for Last Week of November 2024

The Indian Navy has updated the schedule for the Indian Navy Civilian Entrance Test (INCET) 01/2024, with the Computer Based Test (CBT) now set for the last week of November 2024. This announcement comes after the examination was postponed from its original slot in September due to various technical and administrative complications.

In an official notice released on the recruitment website, the Indian Navy communicated, “Dear Candidates, INCET-01/2024 has been tentatively scheduled for the last week of November 2024. Fresh admit cards will be issued soon.” This exam plays a crucial role for applicants aspiring to secure civilian positions within the Indian Navy, which encompass a diverse range of job roles.

Candidates participating in the recruitment process are urged to frequently check the Indian Navy recruitment website for updates and details regarding the availablity of admit cards, which are expected to be issued shortly. The recruitment drive aims to fill a series of civilian vacancies, including positions such as Fireman, Tradesman Mate, Fire Engine Driver, Pest Control Worker, Chargeman (Mechanic), Multi-Tasking Staff (MTS), Chargeman (Factory), Cook, Scientific Assistant, and Chargeman (Ammunition Workshop).

The breakdown of vacancies is as follows:
– Fireman: 444
– Tradesman Mate: 161
– Fire Engine Driver: 58
– Pest Control Worker: 18
– Chargeman (Mechanic): 18
– Multi-Tasking Staff (MTS): 16
– Chargeman (Factory): 10
– Cook: 9
– Scientific Assistant: 4
– Chargeman (Ammunition Workshop): 1

For candidates looking to download their admit cards for the upcoming examination, the procedure has been outlined as follows:
1. Visit the official website: incet.cbt-exam.in
2. Click on the ‘INCET 2024’ link on the homepage.
3. In the new window, select the ‘Download Admit Card’ link.
4. Enter the required details and submit your information.
5. Your hall ticket will then be displayed on the screen.

The CBT will feature a total of 100 questions, divided into four sections of 25 marks each. The sections are:
– General Intelligence
– General Awareness
– English Language
– Quantitative Aptitude

Candidates are advised to concentrate on these subjects for comprehensive preparation ahead of the exam. Following the CBT, certain positions will require candidates to undergo a Physical Standard Test (PST) and a Skill Test. The final steps of the recruitment process will include document verification and a medical examination to ensure candidates meet the necessary criteria for the desired roles.
