The Attestation Ceremony for 386 Guards Agniveers took place at the Mechanised Infantry Centre & School in Ahmednagar, Maharashtra, marking a significant milestone in the transition of these young soldiers into full-fledged members of the Indian Army. This pivotal event celebrated the completion of an intensive training program designed to prepare the recruits for their future roles within the esteemed Guards Regiment.

Brigadier K Anand, the Commandant of the Brigade of the Guards Regimental Centre in Kamptee, presided over the parade, which showcased the Agniveers’ exceptional discipline, dedication, and commitment. The atmosphere was vibrant, filled with pride as fellow recruits, senior military officials, and the families of the Agniveers gathered to witness the ceremonious occasion.

The ceremony underscored the groundbreaking Agniveer scheme, an initiative aimed at infusing the Indian Armed Forces with a youthful and energetic force.
