Officials have confirmed that President Droupadi Murmu will be in attendance for this important event, which will display an impressive lineup featuring 15 warships and 40 aircraft. Notably, this yearโ€™s celebrations will mark the first time the Indian Navy is showcasing its operations in Odisha. B. Deepak Aneel, the commanding officer of INS Chilka, reported that preparations for the event began several months ago. Attendees can look forward to an extraordinary show that will display ships, submarines, aircraft, and demonstrations by marine commandos. Aneel emphasized, โ€œYou will have a spectacular show,โ€ highlighting the eventโ€™s grandeur.

Among the highlights will be combat demonstrations including stealth operations conducted by MARCOS commandos. This celebration serves to underscore the Indian Navyโ€™s readiness and valor in safeguarding the nation, with Aneel stating that it reflects the Navyโ€™s commitment to national security.

He mentioned that the two-day dress rehearsal started promptly, with infrastructure enhancements being made to facilitate a pleasant experience for attendees. In addition, significant police deployment has been organized along the beach and within the pilgrim town to ensure security throughout the event.

The Indian Navy is set to execute a grand operational demonstration off the coast of Puri, aiming to showcase the strength and versatility of its naval fleet. According to officials, this event not only pays tribute to Indiaโ€™s maritime heritage but also provides the public an opportunity to witness naval operations up close.

Puri Superintendent of Police Vineet Agarwal confirmed that all necessary arrangements for the rehearsal are complete. Additionally, Indian Navy officials have extended invitations to various dignitaries, including Puri Gajapati Maharaja Dibya Singha Deb, to attend the Navy Day programme. Visitors can also anticipate a performance by the Navyโ€™s musical band, which will entertain with patriotic tunes and concerts.

The celebrations are expected to highlight Indiaโ€™s rich maritime history while enhancing public engagement with naval operations. Promoting a display of naval prowess alongside cultural performances, the event promises to be a significant occasion for all attendees, celebrating the nationโ€™s naval achievements and fostering a sense of pride among the population.
