Surgeon Vice Admiral Kavita Sahai, who made history as the first woman to hold the position of Director General Medical Services (Navy), has been instrumental in advancing the medical capabilities of the Navy. Her career is marked by pioneering achievements, including being the first woman to serve as Colonel Commandant in the Army Medical Corps (AMC).
