Pune, January 18, 2025 – Lt Gen Dhiraj Seth, AVSM, the Army Commander of the Southern Command, recently visited the Trinetra Brigade. During his visit, he was briefed on various operational aspects, the introduction of new generation equipment, and ongoing innovations within the brigade.

The Southern Command, known for its rich history dating back to 1895, has been pivotal in several significant military operations, including the integration of princely states into India, the 1961 liberation of Goa, and the Indo-Pakistani Wars of 1965 and 1971.
