A sudden flash flood struck Dharali village, situated just 4 km from the Harshil Army Camp, on Tuesday afternoon, triggering an immediate rescue mission by the Indian Army.

Reacting within 10 minutes of the disaster, the Indian Army deployed 150 troops to the site. The personnel swiftly evacuated 15–20 civilians trapped in the affected area and moved them to safety. Medical aid was provided to the rescued individuals at the Army’s facility, ensuring prompt treatment for any injuries or health issues.

The Indian Army continues to work in coordination with local authorities to carry out large-scale rescue and relief efforts. Teams remain on high alert to assist residents and prevent further loss of life or property, as the situation in the area is being closely monitored.
