Lieutenant General AVS Rathee, General Officer Commanding (GOC) Konark Corps, conducted a thorough review of the operational preparedness of the Sindh Vijeta Brigade during his visit to Jamnagar.
During the inspection, Lt Gen Rathee commended the brigade’s high state of readiness, emphasizing their capability to effectively respond to situations akin to Operation Sindoor in the future. The GOC highlighted the importance of maintaining vigilance, operational efficiency, and rapid response capabilities in the face of evolving security challenges.
He also applauded all ranks for their exemplary performance in recent Humanitarian Assistance and Disaster Relief (HADR) operations, recognizing their dedication, professionalism, and coordinated efforts in delivering timely aid and support during crises.
The visit underscored the Indian Army’s focus on combat readiness, disaster management, and integrated operational excellence, ensuring that formations like the Sindh Vijeta Brigade remain capable of meeting both operational and humanitarian demands.
