He highlighted the institutionโs remarkable record of preparing students for the National Defence Academy, with nearly 90% success rates, as reflected in Ministry of Defence data.
The GOC also commended Colonel Rahul Agarwal, Officer Commanding RIMC, and the faculty for their dedicated mentoring. An award ceremony was held, where Maj Gen Gill and Col Agarwal received recognition for the collegeโs performance in the recent UPSC examinations. RIMCโs latest chronicle noted a 15% rise in top-tier placements compared to the previous year, reinforcing the institutionโs academic excellence alongside its military training.
The visit concluded with a group photograph in front of the iconic Thimaya Auditorium, symbolizing the bond between the Armed Forces leadership and future officer cadets. Maj Gen Gillโs address reinforced RIMCโs reputation as a premier feeder institution for the Indian Armed Forces.
