In an inspiring initiative aimed at fostering discipline, leadership, and patriotism among the nationโs youth, the Chetak Corps, along with the Ranbankura Division and Panchvinshti Brigade, conducted special training and motivation camps for National Cadet Corps (NCC) cadets at Bikaner and Bathinda military stations.
Over 250 NCC cadets from various schools and colleges participated in these camps, which offered them a rare opportunity to witness the life, ethos, and operational readiness of the Indian Army. The camps were designed to provide practical exposure to military life and inspire cadets to pursue a career in the armed forces.
A major attraction of the event was a weapon display, where cadets were introduced to modern infantry weapons and equipment used by the Indian Army. Trained personnel explained the functioning and tactical importance of each weapon system, instilling pride and curiosity among the young trainees.
Cadets also got a guided tour of an infantry unit, where they interacted with officers and soldiers. They learned about the unitโs history, operational roles, and the rigorous training routines that shape the nationโs defenders. This visit gave the cadets a firsthand look at the camaraderie, discipline, and determination that form the foundation of military life.
In addition to technical and tactical exposure, a series of motivational talks and interactive sessions were conducted. Senior officers addressed the cadets, encouraging them to uphold the values of service, integrity, and excellence. Cultural programs and sports activities further strengthened the spirit of teamwork and mutual respect among participants.
Such initiatives reflect the Indian Armyโs continuous efforts to nurture the next generation of leaders under the spirit of โNation First, Always and Every Time.โ The event successfully bridged the gap between the military and the youth, instilling in them the pride of wearing the uniform and serving the nation.
