Lt Gen Pankaj P Rao, Director and Commandant, Armed Forces Medical College (AFMC), and Colonel Commandant, Army Medical Corps (AMC), visited the 60 Para Field Hospital of the elite Shatrujeet Brigade on 28 October 2025.

During the visit, the General Officer conducted a comprehensive review of the hospitalโs operational readiness and training protocols, ensuring that the unit remains fully prepared for both combat medical support and humanitarian assistance and disaster relief (HADR) operations.

The visit also featured a detailed demonstration of the unitโs cutting-edge medical infrastructure and next-generation equipment designed for rapid deployment and high-efficiency response in field conditions. The 60 Para Field Hospitalโs ability to provide world-class medical care in austere and conflict environments underscores its critical role in enhancing the Indian Armyโs operational resilience.
