Lieutenant General Pratik Sharma, General Officer Commanding-in-Chief, Northern Command, visited the forward areas of Gurez, Machhal, and Keran Sectors to review the operational preparedness of formations and celebrate Deepawali with troops deployed along the Line of Control.
During his visit, the Army Commander interacted with all ranks, commending their unwavering dedication, professionalism, and exceptional state of readiness while performing their duties in extremely challenging terrain and weather conditions.
Lt Gen Sharma’s interaction and words of encouragement served as a strong morale booster for the soldiers, reaffirming their spirit, resilience, and commitment towards safeguarding the nation’s frontiers.
He lauded the Northern Command’s efforts in maintaining a high operational tempo and ensuring peace and stability along the Line of Control, embodying the command’s ethos of being “Forever in Operations.”
