The Airawat Division conducted an operational orientation-cum-career counselling session for NCC girl cadets from Ambala and Rohtak, offering them a rare glimpse into the Indian Army’s modern capabilities and career opportunities.
During the visit, the cadets were familiarised with state-of-the-art Air Defence systems, including the advanced equipment and technologies showcased during Operation Sindoor, where the Army demonstrated high-level operational readiness and air defence prowess.
Officers of the Airawat Division briefed the cadets on various avenues to join the Indian Armed Forces, spanning roles in the Army, Navy, and Air Force. The interactive session aimed to inspire young women to consider a career in uniform by highlighting both technical and leadership pathways available to them.
The initiative generated enthusiastic participation, with many cadets expressing renewed motivation to serve the nation.
The programme reflects the Army’s continued commitment to youth outreach and to encouraging greater participation of women in the defence services.
