Lt Gen C.G. Muralidharan, Director General Medical Services (Army) and Colonel Commandant of the Army Medical Corps, conducted an official visit to Command Hospital (Northern Command) on 22 November 2025.

During the visit, the senior officer was briefed on the progress of the upcoming hospital complex, the functioning of key medical departments, and various ongoing initiatives aimed at further improving patient care and clientele satisfaction across the facility.

Lt Gen Muralidharan inspected several critical care units, including the Intensive Care Unit and the Dialysis Centre, where he reviewed operational procedures and interacted with the medical staff. He appreciated the high standards of treatment being provided and commended the hospitalโs dedication to delivering quality healthcare.

Officials said the General Officer praised the hospitalโs continued efforts in serving not only soldiers, veterans and their families but also extending advanced medical care to the local civilian population, significantly benefiting those in need of specialised treatment in the region.
