In a reaffirmation of the Indian Army’s steadfast commitment to nurturing world-class sporting talent, the General Officer Commanding, Maharashtra, Gujarat & Goa (MG&G) Area visited the Army Sports Institute (ASI), Pune, where he interacted with athletes and witnessed their training sessions. The visit highlighted the Army’s pivotal role in shaping the nation’s sporting vanguard through structured training, discipline and long-term athlete development.
During his interaction with the young warriors of the Army Boys & Girls Sports Company, the GOC commended their exceptional grit, determination and indomitable spirit.
