A two-day Inter Command Continuing Dental Education (CDE) programme on the theme โCollaborative Care: The Role of Dentistry in Systemic Healthโ was inaugurated today by Lt Gen Anindya Sengupta, General Officer Commanding-in-Chief, Central Command, at the Central Command Dental Centre (CMDC), Lucknow. The event brings together eminent speakers, dental specialists and healthcare professionals from across the country for focused discussions on evidence-based practices and the expanding role of dentistry within holistic healthcare.
In his inaugural address, Lt Gen Sengupta emphasised the importance of interdisciplinary synergy in modern medical practice, noting that oral health is deeply interconnected with systemic wellness and plays a critical role in preventing and managing chronic diseases.
