Lt Gen CG Muralidharan, Director General Medical Services (Army) and Colonel Commandant of the Army Medical Corps, visited Military Hospital Meerut on 15 November 2025, where he interacted with officers, troops and medical staff, appreciating their professionalism and dedication in delivering the highest quality medical support to soldiers, families and veterans. His interaction highlighted the crucial role played by the hospital in ensuring comprehensive healthcare across the operational spectrum.

During the visit, the General Officer carried out a detailed review of the proposed new hospital project site, receiving an in-depth briefing on its envisaged capabilities, design parameters and future service provisions. The project aims to significantly enhance medical capacity and integrate advanced healthcare technologies, aligning with the Armed Forces Medical Servicesโ long-term vision of building resilient, modern and future-ready medical infrastructure for the Armed Forces.

Lt Gen Muralidharanโs visit reaffirmed AFMSโs commitment to continuous improvement, patient-centric care and development of next-generation medical facilities capable of meeting the evolving healthcare needs of serving personnel and veterans.
