Gujarat, November 1, 2025 — A ceremonial Change of Guard took place in the Gujarat, Daman and Diu Naval Area (GD&D) as Rear Admiral Sritanu Guru assumed charge as the Flag Officer Commanding Gujarat Naval Area (FOGNA) from Rear Admiral Satish Vasudev, NM on 1 November 2025. The event marked a significant leadership transition in one of the Indian Navy’s key operational areas along the western seaboard.
