Seventy-one cadets of the Indian Military Academy’s (IMA) Army Cadet College (ACC) Wing graduated on Friday after successfully completing three years of academic and military training. The ceremony, held at the IMA Auditorium in Dehradun, was presided over by IMA Commandant Lt Gen Nagendra Singh, who awarded bachelor’s degrees to the graduating cadets.

Lt Gen Singh congratulated the cadets and reminded them that character, discipline, courage, motivation, a positive mindset, and professional competence form the bedrock of exemplary military leadership.
The degrees—conferred by Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU), New Delhi—were awarded to 30 cadets from the Science stream and 41 from the Humanities stream of the ACC Wing’s 126th course. The graduates will now join the IMA in January as officer cadets for their one-year pre-commissioning training.
