The Southern Command has congratulated the winners of InnoYoddha 2025, the Indian Army’s flagship platform that recognises soldier-driven innovation and practical, mission-ready problem-solving.
Leading the honours this year was the cost-effective and ingenious Project Abhimanyu, developed by Colonel Gautam Kumar of Southern Star Munitioners, which secured First Place for its outstanding contribution to operational capability enhancement.
In addition, innovators from two units under Southern Command were awarded COAS Commendation Cards, further underscoring the Command’s strong culture of creativity, operational excellence, and forward-thinking innovation.
The recognition reflects Southern Command’s sustained commitment to empowering soldiers to design solutions rooted in battlefield experience, advancing the Army’s broader push towards Atmanirbharta and indigenous capability development.
