Commodore Manu formally assumed charge as the Naval Officer-in-Charge (Maharashtra) from Commodore Sharad Sinsunwal, SC, during a Ceremonial Division held in accordance with naval traditions.

The change of command marked a smooth transition of responsibilities, reflecting the Indian Navy’s emphasis on continuity, professionalism, and disciplined leadership. Commodore Sharad Sinsunwal, SC, handed over charge after a distinguished tenure, during which he contributed significantly to strengthening naval coordination and maritime security initiatives in the Maharashtra region.
On assuming charge, Commodore Manu expressed his commitment to further enhancing operational effectiveness, coordination with civil authorities, and maritime security along the state’s coastline, in line with the Indian Navy’s mandate.
