Commodore PC Manoj assumed command of the Indian Naval Air Station INS Rajali, Arakkonam, on December 17, 2025, taking over as the 19th Commanding Officer of the premier naval aviation establishment.
He assumed charge from Commodore Kapil Mehta during a formal ceremony held at the air station. INS Rajali is one of the Indian Navy’s most important aviation bases, playing a critical role in maritime surveillance, long-range reconnaissance, and anti-submarine warfare operations.
The change of command marks the continuation of INS Rajali’s tradition of operational excellence, training rigor, and mission readiness, with Commodore PC Manoj set to lead the base in further strengthening its operational capabilities and support to naval aviation operations.
