Lieutenant General Arvind Chauhan, General Officer Commanding (GOC), Sudarshan Chakra Corps, visited the Shahbaaz Division to review ongoing infrastructure development and training activities, underscoring the Indian Army’s focus on readiness for future conflicts.
During the visit, the Corps Commander was briefed on key projects aimed at enhancing operational capability and modernising training infrastructure. Lt Gen Chauhan lauded the formation for its high levels of combat effectiveness and innovative training initiatives that are closely aligned with the technological demands of modern warfare.
Impressed by the professionalism and preparedness of the troops, the GOC appreciated the Division’s emphasis on adaptability, realism in training, and integration of emerging technologies to meet evolving security challenges.
As part of the visit, Certificates of Appreciation were presented to soldiers who excelled in their respective operational domains, recognising their dedication, performance, and contribution to mission readiness.
The visit reaffirmed the Indian Army’s commitment to continuous modernisation, infrastructure enhancement, and excellence in training, ensuring formations remain agile and combat-ready in a rapidly changing warfare environment.
