Vice Admiral Sanjay Bhalla, Flag Officer Commanding-in-Chief, Eastern Naval Command, visited INS Vishwakarma on 16 December to review the unit’s training ecosystem and infrastructure.
During the visit, Vice Admiral Bhalla was briefed on the advanced training facilities at the establishment, including newly inducted simulators and supporting infrastructure aimed at enhancing technical proficiency and operational readiness of naval personnel.
Emphasising the importance of physical fitness and holistic well-being, the FOC-in-C inaugurated newly constructed badminton and lawn tennis courts at the unit. He reaffirmed the Indian Navy’s commitment to promoting a healthy, fit, and balanced lifestyle alongside professional excellence.
The visit highlighted the Navy’s continued focus on modern training methodologies, infrastructure development, and personnel welfare to sustain high standards of preparedness.
