Over the subsequent years, he occupied various critical roles, including assignments in Patiala (2001), Delhi as Deputy Commandant (2005), the 5th Battalion in Leh (2007–2010), anti-Naxal duties in Chhattisgarh as Second-in-Command, the 21st Battalion in Srinagar (2013–2016), the 37th Battalion (2016–2019), and positions at Force Headquarters. In recent years, he commanded the 20th Battalion in Aalo, Arunachal Pradesh, and supported operations in the 57th Battalion.
