Lt Gen Pratik Sharma, Army Commander, Northern Command, visited North Kashmir to assess the operational preparedness of troops and review ongoing operations in the Rafiabad–Sopore sector.
At the Joint Control Centre, the Army Commander held detailed discussions with representatives of various security and intelligence agencies, focusing on enhancing inter-agency cooperation in the prevailing security environment. He emphasized the importance of rapid intelligence fusion, real-time information sharing, and synergised response mechanisms to effectively counter emerging threats.
The visit underscored Northern Command’s continued focus on jointness, integrated operations, and high readiness levels, ensuring a proactive and coordinated approach to maintaining security and stability in North Kashmir.
