Air Marshal Ashutosh Dixit, Chief of Integrated Defence Staff (CIDS), addressed the ADJO 2026 Conclave and highlighted the imperative to institutionalise joint mechanisms for integrated planning, intelligence sharing, and capability prioritisation. He stressed the need for coherent inter-service responses and a structured approach to identifying capability gaps in order to strengthen comprehensive operational preparedness for future contingencies.
Emphasising the evolving character of warfare, Air Marshal Dixit underscored the importance of advancing all-domain integration to achieve synergistic effects across services and deliver unified operational outcomes. He advocated accelerated doctrinal evolution and tri-service alignment of resources to build a robust unified operational capability and ensure sustained strategic readiness. During the conclave, he also awarded on-the-spot commendations to personnel in recognition of their professional excellence and contributions.

In his closing address, Air Marshal Jeetendra Mishra, Air Officer Commanding-in-Chief of Western Air Command, highlighted critical lessons from Operation Sindoor and their far-reaching implications for future warfare. He underlined the pivotal role of air power in delivering decisive effects, the necessity of synchronising ground operations with offensive air capabilities, and the effective employment of stand-off weapons to achieve operational objectives.

Air Marshal Mishra called for a decisive transition beyond legacy Effects-Based Operations frameworks, emphasising the identification of capability gaps, reinforcement of all-domain convergence, and the establishment of a strong foundation for coordinated, effects-driven all-domain responses. He too presented on-the-spot commendations to deserving personnel.

ADJO-2026 is expected to play a significant role in shaping a truly interoperable, future-ready joint force, reinforcing the Armed Forcesโ commitment to integration, agility, and preparedness in an increasingly complex security environment.
