Lieutenant General Dhiraj Seth, PVSM, UYSM, AVSM, General Officer Commanding-in-Chief of the Southern Command, visited the Agnibaaz Division to review its operational readiness and evolving combat capabilities.
During the visit, Lt Gen Seth was briefed on the formation’s advanced Imagery Interpretation, Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance (ISR), and targeting architecture. These systems enable real-time intelligence fusion, significantly enhancing battlefield awareness and decision-making.

The Army Commander also reviewed new raisings and recent acquisitions within the Regiment of Artillery, reflecting the Indian Army’s ongoing transformation into a more agile, networked, and future-ready force.
Commending all ranks for their professionalism and unwavering commitment, Lt Gen Seth emphasised the importance of tech-enabled preparedness, sharpened situational awareness, and responsive combat support systems.

He reiterated that the integration of advanced technologies and intelligence-driven operations will remain critical in securing battlefield dominance in future conflicts.
