According to police, the conflict began late at night at a nightclub named Zen-G, where an argument broke out between two groups over a bill. The dispute escalated when members of one group allegedly vandalised a vehicle belonging to the other.

In the early hours, the confrontation intensified as one group chased the other in vehicles—a Scorpio N and a Fortuner—leading to a road chase and exchange of gunfire on city roads.
